The in-house team at Madame Tussauds approached Light Projects to specify Fibre Optics for their Kylie Minogue (and then Incredible Hulk) display. These proved particularly effective with flush-fitting luminaires at the end of the fibre tails. For health and safety reasons, it was essential that the floor fittings were flush mounted to the floor and capable of withstanding point-loads and heavy pedestrian traffic.

The 39 fittings use PMMA fibres which are powered by light sources with 6-colour wheel and 6-step DMX-controlled dimmer. The constantly changing colours combine with other lighting effects to give the feel of a stage and helps to bring the displays to life and serviced by remote generators sited well away from the display.
