GDPR Policy
At Light Projects Ltd, we are committed to data privacy and protection of our customers’ data. GDPR compliance for us has required the development of our current information security management, improving and maintaining key data protection and privacy controls, and auditing the information we hold. In order to ensure our continued and improved compliance with GDPR we will follow the below principles:
- To process data fairly and lawfully;
- Processing data only for specified and lawful purposes;
- Data processed is adequate, relevant, and not excessive;
- Data processed is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date;
- Data is not kept longer than necessary;
- Data is processed in accordance with an individual’s consent and rights;
- To store data securely;
- To ensure that data is not transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) without adequate protection.
What does this mean for our customers?
As a customer of Light Projects Ltd, we will only process your data if it complies with the principles set out above. If at any point, you feel that data we hold for you is inaccurate or needs to be updated, please inform us as soon as possible, and we will arrange for this to be amended.
GDPR also gives individuals the right to be forgotten. There may be circumstances where we will be unable to process your request, however, we will assess each request on an individual basis.

Credit card policy
Key Company Policies relating to purchases by credit card are as follows:
- Delivery Policy – UK delivery is by courier; overseas delivery by our overseas freight forwarders. The average timeframe for delivery in the UK will be 3 working days and overseas will depend upon the country but in the European Union would be 5 working days.
- Cancellation Policy – No order which has been accepted by the company may be cancelled by the buyer except with agreement in writing from the company.
- Returns and Refund Policy – The customer may return goods that are defective or damaged in transit. The goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt of the goods with written notice of defects or damage to the company. The company will, within a reasonable period of time examine the goods; and where defective or damaged supply new goods; or at their discretion and if the circumstances are appropriate, refund the purchase price.
- Privacy Policy – Once a credit card transaction has taken place the company will immediately remove from its records all credit card details. The company will not retain or store any customers credit card details.
