It was recently reported that a new species of dinosaur discovered on the Isle of Wight has been named after Natural History Museum scientist Professor Paul Barrett, one of the world’s leading experts on dinosaurs (article).

This isn’t the first dinosaur found on the Isle of Wight and over the years, we’ve been proud to work with the Museum’s lighting designers helping to bring their exhibits to life. A good example is in the NHM’s Hintze Hall where our LEDBar linear lighting is uplighting the famous Mantellisaurus skeleton. Lighting designers DHA Designs used the LEDBar TrueFlux Mini Surface to illuminate the bases in the display cases in the Hall alcoves.

LEDBar TrueFlux Mini is a perfect choice for this kind of application. With an exceptional full spectrum high output linear LED with CRI 95+ and up to 2400 lm/m, the mini profile is ideal for confined spaces and specifically designed for high-end interior, museum, gallery display and retail applications.

It is supplied in factory cut lengths (65-2015mm) in a choice of three colour temperatures and three LED densities. Three cover options include: Clear for maximum indirect illumination, Frosted for a softer and Opal for the softest look.
