A new sculpture has appeared at Wren Landing near Canary Wharf.
Stanton Williams and Experimentapt have conceived ‘Henge’ as a participatory sculptural form, that invites those who work, live and visit the area to engage with it creatively, encouraging spontaneous performances, music and poetry readings within and around the structure.
Light Projects were delighted to be able to support Marci Song at SEAM Design by supplying our LEDStar lighting fittings for their creative lighting scheme which extends the presence and enjoyment through the night with carefully positioned and programmed lighting.
eldoLED also supported this project with their POWERdrive range of four channel DMX drivers.
After sunset, the sculpture remains monumental and elegant at night. ‘Henge’ is transformed into a night dial that reveals time through the movement of light.
Henge will be open from 20.09.22 through to 20.10.22 and is free for everyone to visit: Wren Landing, Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London E14.
