Light Projects RayLight fixtures were installed by the Royal Academy of Arts in London to replace the existing lighting system throughout its prestigious Main Galleries. Four lighting companies were invited to pitch for the Heritage Lottery Funded project and the Academy decided to develop a new generation of light fittings with the Light Projects Group.

Light Projects used the Par 36 / AR111 12 volt lamps and the American Par 38 120 volt lamps and commissioned a special electronic transformer to change voltage from 240 to 120-volts.
