In the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the city of Bath, The Roman Baths and Pump Room is a site of international historical and archaeological significance and attracts over one million visitors each year.
As part of an impressive refurbishment, architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios created the Archway Project comprising a new World Heritage Centre and Roman Baths Learning Centre. The Learning Centre features three state-of-the-art learning rooms, break out space and a hands-on Investigation Zone set among real Roman remains.
The project lighting designers, Lux Lucis, specified both Light Projects LEDStar 3 and LEDStar 4 fittings throughout the space. LEDStars are perfect for this kind of application. ‘Made in Britain’ from precision machined aluminium, they offer the very latest LED modules with high CRI 90+ and feature an IP67 rating. The addition of replaceable LED modules allows for easy maintenance and upgrade minimising the environmental impact and forming part of the circular economy.
